ANXIOUS FOR TRADE
ARGENTINE PROPOSAL.

Sir John Simon told Mr P. J. H. Hannon in the House of Commons that the Argentine Government had made inquiries in reference to sending a trade mission to Britain, but tho Ambassador had been informed that in view of Britain’s desire not to prejudice the Ottawa Conference, no useful purpose would be served by a delegation coming at present.
