For Garden Lovers
Cousin Jean Nichol received this letter during the week from a lady in Mossburn, and Jean has sent it to me wondering if there are any of you who would like to take this means of raising money for the bazaar funds. Write to mo about it, any of you who would like to take advantage of this kind offer:
Dear Little Southlander, —For some time past I have been wondering if any of you little cousins would care to make pocket money individually by selling any surplus flower plants or bulbs, corms, or tubers, spring-flowering varieties such as hyacinths, tulips, snowdrops, crocus, ranunculus, anemones, polyanthus and primroses. If you would sell them fairly reasonably I would be only too pleased to assist those of you that would care to sell. So would you kindly talk the matter over with some of your garden lover companions and let me know in due course what decision you have came to. Wishing you every success at your big party on Saturday.
