TT IS HEREBY PUBLICLY NOTIFIED I that the Annual Meeting of Householders for the election of School Committees will be held on TUESDAY, April 26, 1932, at 7.30 p.m, in the Schoolroom of each district. The number of Members to be elected shall be Five where the average attendance for the School for the year 1931 did not exceed 100, Seven where the average exceeded 100 but did not exceed 200, and Nine where the average exceeded 200. HOUSEHOLDERS are requested to send, in writing, by post or delivery, so as to be delivered to the respective Chairmen of the several School Committees not later than 8 o’clock in the evening of TUESDAY, APRIL 19, 1932, the names of persons being Householders, nominated by them for election to serve upon the Committee for the year next ensuing, provided that where the position of Chairman is vacant such nominations shall be sent to the Secretary. Notwithstanding anything in the foregoing provision, in the case of a School District in which there were not more than two hundred and forty children in average attendance at the public school therein during the preceding year any householder present at the annual meeting may at such meeting, nominate for election to serve on the Committee any householder; and a householder nominated at a meeting and by word of mouth or by writing given to the Chairman consenting to be so nominated, shall be a candidate for election. Each nomination shall be signed by the proposer and by the candidate, and shall be in the form set forth in the third schedule to “The Act, 1914, and Amendments,” or to the effect thereof.
