ARMED MEN ARRESTED

, appearance in court. (Per United Press Association.) Napier, September 22. After a wait of two hours early yesterday morning four men, Ronald Hugh McIntosh, Alan Arthur Mclntosh, James Cameron and Frederick Quinn, were arrested by the Napier police on the Wcstshorc Embankment in possession of a loaded gun. This was the sequel to the alleged attempted breaking and entering at Waipukurau. . This morning they were charged with being rogues and vagabonds and with being in possession of firearms with felonous intent. Bail was fixed for a total amount of £3,000. The men were remanded to October 1.
