ITS LAST ISSUE
THE AUCKLAND SUN. NOW INCORPORATED IN STAR. (Per United Press Association.) Auckland, September 20. Arrangements have been made between New Zealand Newspapers, Limited, and Sun Newspapers, Limited, under which the former has purchased the buildings, plant, copyright and goodwill of the Sun, Auckland. The Sun ceases publication from today as a separate paper and from Monday will be incorporated in the Auckland Star. The Sun Newspapers, Limited, will continue to publish the Sun, Christchurch, which is not in any way affected by the realization of the company’s assets in Auckland.
