CONGRATULATIONS FROM GOVERNORGENERAL. (Per United Press Association.) Auckland, June 4. The following message has been sent by the Governor-General to Sir Harold Delf Gillies, chief- plastic surgeon at the Ministry of Pensions, London, upon whom his Majesty has just conferred the honour of Knighthood: “I should like to express my sincere congratulations on your well-earned recognition, the-news of which I am sure has been received with much gratification by the people of New Zealand.”
