PARLIAMENT BUILDINGS EPISODE. LABOURER CONVICTED. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, April 14. The window-breaker at Parliament Buildings, Reginald Nelson Winford, a labourer, aged 45, pleaded guilty this morning to drunkenness and committing mischief. The police stated that accused was apparently inclined towards this offence when under the influence of liquor, as in 1924 he had been sentenced to a term of imprisonment for a similar offence at Kirkcaldie and Stain's shop. He was convicted and ordered to make good the damage, amounting to £2 10/-, in default seven days’ detention.
