TELEGRAM AS PICTURE
NEW FORM OF MESSAGE. EXPERIMENTS IN BRITAIN. Rugby, April 13. Among experiments which the engineering department of the General Post Office is making in connection with its telegraph service one of the most interesting is directed to the sending of a telegram as a picture, so that it shall reach the person
to whom it is addressed as a facsimile of the handwriting of the sender. The experiments are being made in co-operation with Germany, and if they prove successful the new form of message will doubtless be adopted.—British Official Wireless.
