AUSTRALIAN NAVY
CRUISER MELBOURNE DISMANTLED. (Rec. 5.5 p.n.J Rugby, April 13. The Australian cruiser Melbourne which is to be sold and whose officers and ship’s company will turn over to the new cruiser Australia, now building at Glasgow, arrived at Portsmouth last evening and exchanged ralutes with the Commander-in-Chief at Portsmouth in preparation for her disposal. The guns, with the exception of quick-firers for saluting purposes, have been removed. —British Official Wireless.
