RECORD SUIT
£300,000 CLAIM. Chicago, March 9. Chicago’s longest civil suit has ended as far as the evidence is concerned, and the decision is expected in June. Two years ago the Chicago Tribune started an action to recover £300,000 from Mayor “Big Bill“ Thompson and his associates, which the Tribune declared “they stole from the taxpayers for personal gain, and the enhancement of Thompson’s political machine.”—Sun Special.
