ACCIDENT OX WARSHIP

DEATH OF WARRANT ENGINEER. OTHERS SERIOUSLY INJURED. Rugby, March 25. The following communique was received by the Admiralty yesterday: “The Secretary of the Admiralty regrets to announce that a serious accident occurred on H.M.S. Courageous this forenoon during the trial of a pump, resulting in the death from injuries of a warrant engineer and serious injuries to the chief stoker, a boilermaker and a fitter. A Court of Inquiry into the accident is to be held at Devonport tomorrow.”—British Official Wireless.
