AEROPLANE CRASHES

BOY KILLED. FIVE OTHERS INJURED. (Rec. 7.30 p.m.) London, March 26. Twelve thousand spectators were horn fied to see an aeroplane crash at St. Alybridge (Cheshire), killing a boy and seriously injuring five other children. The ’plane was commissioned to bring a film entitled “What Price Glory” for exhibition at the St. Alybridge cinema. A large crowd assembled in a field surrounded by an eight feet wall. The ’plane after several attempts to find a safe landing descended but was unable to stop before reaching the wall into which it crashed.—A. and N.Z.
