PUKERAU DEFEATS CELTIC (GORE). (From Our Correspondent.) On Friday afternoon the Celtic eleven journeyed to Pukerau to play a friendly match with the Pukerau team. The latter knocked up 125 runs and Celtic replied with 104. For Pukerau, J. Edwards struck his old form, and his stand at the wickets was marked by some gobd cricket. A good catch by Mallon ended his innings at 50. R. Edwards (28) also put up a good showing. Brown (Celtic) had the bowlers thinking before he was clean bowled by Styles for 44.
