MAYORALTY ELECTION. (Per United Press Association.) Gisborne, March 23. The election for the Mayoralty caused by the death of Mr C. E. Armstrong, resulted in the return of Mr D. W. Coleman (Labourl with 1760 votes who beat J. Blair, deputy Mayor (Citizens’ Candidate), 1737 and A. Wade (Citizens’ Candidate) 951.
