HOW CLOSE?
ALASKA AND NEW ZEALAND. (Rec. 9.20 p.m?) New York, March 23. How close is New Zealand to Alaska? Captain Wilkins at Point Barrow is trying to answer this question in terms of radio, his portable set having some difficulty in communicating with Seward because of interference by other stations. When the identity of these was traced ifc was found that they included one in New York City and two in New Zealand, CZVOO and CZVED.—Sun Cable.
