CORNHILL NOW’ SAFE. Rugby, August 12. The chief engineer engaged in the task of making Cornhill safe, following the collapse last Saturday night of portion of a large building, stated to-day that everything is now safe. He added that the work carried out had been effective, and very little of the portion of the building left standing would have to come down. —British Official Wireless.
