FIVE-DAY WEEK
ADOPTION IN NEW SOUTH WALES. (Rec. 8.10 p.m.) Sydney, July 12. The State Government has decided, where practicable, to adopt a five-day week for the Public Service. This will mean the abolition of Saturday work in practically all Government departments.—A. and N.Z.
