TUSSOCK CREEK. At Tussock Creek a small number of householders were present, and Mr. Spriggs presided. The roll number for the school is 33, and the average attendance for the year was 25. The annual statement showed a credit balance of £22 0s 4d. The following were elected a Committee for the ensuing year:—Messrs W. Clark (Chairman and Secretary), W. Spriggs, W. Lightfoot, R. Dunlop and D. McKercher. MATAURA ISLAND. At Mat aura Island about six householders were present, and Mr. J. McLeary presided. The roll number for the school is 50, and the average attendance for the year was 42.5. The annual statement showed a credit balance of £1 Ils Od. The following were elected a Committee for the ensuing year:—Messrs J. McLeary (Chairman), T. Horne (Secretary), W. Rhodes, J. W. Richardson, W. McKeown. MAKAREWA NORTH. At Makarewa North Mr. Kenneth McLean presided. The roll number for the school is 31.97, and the average attendance for the year was 28.64. The annual statement showed a credit balance of £l7. The following were elected a Committee for the ensuing year:—Messrs K. J. McLean (Chairman), W. S. P*vne (Secretary), John McLean, John Cox, Thomas Bennett. OTAMA. At Otama two householders were present. The roll number for the school is 29, and the average attendance for the year was 23.25. The annual statement showed a credit balance of £lB 6/-. No committee was elected. Messrs T. Logan and J McMeekin commissioners.
