SEED REGULATIONS

GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS. REMOVAL OF EMBARGO. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, June 17. Following upon notice recently given of the Government’s intention to modify as from August next the regulations relating to the importation of seeds of flowers, vegetables, grasses, etc., from the United States, the Minister of Agriculture now announces that provided no further outbreak of the foot and mouth diseease occurs the Government proposes, at the expiration of three months from date,, to remove the embargo against the importation of fruit, vegetables, grain, etc., from the United States of California and Texas.
