THIRD DAY. BRILLIANT WEATHER CONDITIONS. (Per United Press Association.) Palmerston North, June 17. There was brilliant weather for the third day of the National Dairy Show. At the annual conference of the North Island Agricultural and Pastoral Associations’ the officers elected were:—President, Mr Conway (Manawatu) ; vice-president, Mr Stuckey (Dannevirke) ; treasurer, Mr Johnston (Manawatu) ; Committee, Messrs Dermer (Feilding), Brown (Horowhenua), Farley (Wanganui), Sandilands (Feilding), Booth (Carterton), James (Masterton), Buchanan (Dannevirke), Grant (Taranaki). A deputation was appointed to see the Hon 0. J. Hawken, Minister of Agriculture at the Show in the afternoon regarding the decision of the Government not to allow mental hospital stock to be exhibited at shows.
