ONE DEAD AND TWO IN HOSPITAL. (Per United Press Association.) Ashburton, April 6. Leicester Stoddart, aged 12, is in hospital in a serious condition, suffering from a fractured skull as the result of falling from a spring-cart he was driving in at Willowby yesterday. He is now only partially conscious. His father, Leo Stoddart, is at present a patient in hospital, and it is only a few months since the mother was killed in a gig accident at the Ashburton traffic bridge.
