THE LUCKY EASTER EGG
From medieval times to 1926 is a long stride—but where boys and girls were out at the first peep of dawn to find lucky Easter Eggs in olden times, Southland boys and girls will be joining in a hunt for lucky Easter eggs to be hidden in different townships throughout Southland. At the present moment that old-time wizard—Mr Easter Bunny is working at top speed preparing Easter eggs for H. & J. Smith, Ltd. Each egg will contain a coupon entitling the child who finds it to a framed copy of an Art Treasure entitled “What’ll Daddy Say.” These pictures will not be to hand until about October, and although the winning boys and girls must wait until then to receive their prize we can assure them that it is well worth waiting for. And while we’re writing about gifts we want to remind everyone who has not yet yet received their free tray that it may be obtained now on application to our office either in Invercargill or Gore.—H. & J. Smith, Ltd.—(Advt.)
