WAIHOPAI RIVER BOARD
ELECTION OF MEMBERS. FIFTEEN NOMINATIONS RECEIVED. Ratepayers who are concerned in the operations of the Waihopai River Board are apparently intent on taking more interest in the affairs of the Board, as no fewer than 15 nominations have been received for the seven vacancies. The election is to be held next Monday, and the names of the candidates who have been nominated for election are as follows: — Harold Armstrong. John Robert Brown. Robert J. A. Clarke. C. F. Drury. Henry Edginton. Louis Evans. C. W. Fairweather. James A. Ferguson. John Jas. Gilfedder. Franklin Holmes. Charles Hughes. John Matheson. James McNeill. Charles Saunders. James Whyte.
