(Received August 25, 11 p.m.) Scenes of wild enthusiasm marked the arrival of Lieut. D’Oisy and his mechanic, M. Bezin, who flew from Paris to Tokio. They only stayed a few hours en route to their homes in the country. They will receive a civic welcome in October. Lieut. D’Oisy and M. Bezin leave France on October 25 to lead a motor caterpillar expedition across the Libyan Desert from Tunis to Lake Chad and back. They are planning, for a later date, a long flight over Africa.
