(Received August 25, 11 p.m.) "he Daily Mail says that the production of the Empire Pageant cost nearly £lOO,OOO and though the attendance was 1,000,000, the loss is at least £60,000. The rain kept thousands away almost every night for six weeks, and entirely prevented seven performances.
