PURSUANT to the provisions of “The Counties Act, 1920,” and ‘The Rating Act, 1908,” and the amendments thereof, PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that it is the intention of the V/allace County Council to make on FRIDAY, the 18th July, 1924, for the period commencing Ist April, 1924, an ending 31st March, 1925, on the Capital Value of all the Rateable Property on the Valuation Roll of the Riding respectively, viz.:— A General Rate of a penny and threesixteent/hs in the £ in Orepuki Riding, one penny and one-sixteenth in the £ in Pourakino Riding, fifteenth-sixteenths Of a penny in the £ in Waimatuku, Otautau, Wairio and Mararoa Ridings, one penny and sevensixteenths in the £ in Aparima, Waiau and Wairaki Ridings, and under Section 41 of “The Hospital and Charitable Institution Act, 1909,” a Charitable Aid Rate of three-sixteenths of a penny in the £ on the Capital Value of all the rateable property in the 'County as entered in the Valuation Rolls, payable in one sum at the office of the Wallace County Council, Otautau, on the 11th Augusti, 1924.
