MURDER AND ROBBERY
PARTICULARLY AUDACIOUS CRIME. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.! (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) NEW YORK, November 14. One of the most daring and inhuman robberies in this city of unusual crime, occurred to-day. Two bandits in the elevated railway station waited until two bank messengers, carrying 436,000 dollars, alighted from a train. The bandits opened fire without preliminary warning, killing both instantaneously. They then seized the money, rushed down the steps and departed in a waiting automobile, racing through the busy city streets at seventy miles an hour. The police frankly admit they doubt their ability to apprehend the murderers.
