PORT OF BLUFF.

The auxiliary schooner Britannia returned to Bluff yesterday from a fishing cruise on the West Coast and brought one and a-half tons of blue cod. The Paparoa is expected to leave Oamaru to-day for Bluff direct. She is to load cargo for London and West Coast of England ports. The Whangape is expected to sail from Oamaru for Bluff direct to-morrow, and is due there on Friday to load for Sydney direct. The Ngakuta sailed from Dunedin at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon for Bluff. She has 600 tons of coal and 100 tons of general cargo to discharge there, after which she proceeds to Port_Craig to load timber for Auckland. She afterwards returns to Bluff about Saturday to load for Auckland via ports. The Ngakuta is bringing transhipments ex the Paparoa and Trikieve. It is expected that she will lift about 200,000 feet of timber at Port Craig for Dunedin and Auckland. The Waikawa is expected to leave Wellington this afternoon for Bluff via Lyttelton and Dunedin with cargo from Pacific ports. The Waikouaiti left Sydney last Saturday morning direct for Bluff where she is due to arrive some time to-morrow morning. . The Katoa left Newcastle on Saturday n’ght with a full load of coal for discharge at the Bluff on account of the Railway Department. The Katoa is expected to arrive to-morrow morning. The Waitemata is to leave Wellington this afternoon for Bluff via Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin. She is bringing Calcutta and Singapore cargo as well as general cargo lifted at Auckland and Wellington. She is due at Bluff towards the end of next week. Part of the cargo loaded at Auckland consists of sugar supplies for the local markets. The Moeraki is due to leave Melbourne this afternoon direct for Bluff where she is expected to arrive on Sunday afternoon. The Kotare is due to sail for Waikawa this morning where she will load timber and will return to Invercargill on Thursday night. Sailed—Calm (5.10 p.m.) for Wanganui; Waikawa (5.40 p.m.) for Lyttelton; Mararoa (7.50 p.m.) for Lyttelton.
