COUNTRY PLAYERS. To the Editor. Sir.—l quite agree •with "Country Player” that he has a grievance, after the way th? Rugby Union brings him into town to swell up their funds. But what abrxit debenture holders ? Some ten years ago we put our little bit in, to save a portion of the ground being sold. The conditions were: we had to get a pass for every £1 debenture and interest after a few years. What have we got ?—noth • ing. Last year we were told the N.Z. Union would not allow the local Union to issue free passes to the holders. Alas! wluit are they doing this year to compensate us for what we have done-? Wake up and give us a fair deal.—l am etc., DISGUSTED DEBENTURE HOLDER.
