A MAORI DROW.VKP. (Per United Press Association.) ROTORUA, January IT. Wi Whaitiri. a prominent Maori of Tahrko. was drowned in the Katunariver, below the Okcrc falls. While sling shooting on Sunday afternoon lie swam to retrieve a bird, and was swept away by the current. The body was not recover ed.
