MAILS CLOSE AT CHIEF POST OFFICE. INVERCARGILL. AS UNDER: Registered articles close one hour, newspapers l.alf-an-hour.- and parcels forty-five minutes before time given below for closing ordinary letter mails. Fcr Christchurch and intermediate offices, daily at 5-25 a.m. and 12.40 p.m. Por Dunedin daily at 3.25 a in., 12.40 and 3.45 p.m. For "Wellington and North, daily at 5.23 a.m. For all Australian States and South Africa, via Auckland, every Saturday at 6.25 a.m. For Greymouth. Hokitika. Reefton, and Westport. Mondays. Wednesdays, and Fridays, at 5.25 am. For smaller offices see time-table over posting box at Chief Post Office, Invercargill. There will be a daily mail service to and from West Coast ports till April 8. MONDAY. APRIL 5. Mails for Tonga close 5.23 a.m. for despatch per schooner “Ysabel” from Auckland. WEDNESDAY, APRIL 7. Mails for Australian States (due Sydney April 12). and for United Kingdom and Continent of Europe (for specially addressed correspondence S.S. “Mokoia” only. due London May 16). and for Egypt. South Africa, India. Ceylon, China, Japan. Straits Settlements, etc. Mails close as follows: Money orders 4 p.m.. and registered articles 5 p.m. April 7. All other correspondence 5.25 a.m. April 8. Mails for United Kingdom and Continent of Europe t for specially addressed correspondence per s.s. "Rotorua” only, due London about May 20) close Invercargill 5.25 a.m. Parrels for despatch to United Kingdom 12.45 p.m. on Tuesdav, April 6th. FRIDAY. APRIL 9. Mails for Hobart and Melbourne close at 6.10 a.m. for despatch per s.s. "Wimmera" from Bluff.
O L I D A T NOTICES. EASTER MONDAY. APRIL sth, 1915. POST OFFICES. Post Offices will be open in all branches; except money order and savings bank, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. only. All mails usually closed after 8 a.m. will close at that hour. There will be no delivery by letter carriers. but a delivery of all correspondence will be made over the counter between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. the preceding Saturday . TELEGRAPH OFFICES. All offices will be open between 9a.m. ■nd 10 a.rn. Invercargill—Open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.. and 7 p.jn. to midnight. Bluff —Open 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., and 7 p.m. to S p.m. Gore—Open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. TELEPHONE EXCHANGES. All country exchanges will be closed.
