Anti-cyclonic conditions have ruled. But the barometer now shows a decreasing tendency. Fair to cloudy weather has prevailed: the winds have been variable with moderate to strong southeasterlies prevailing. Present indications are for fair to cloudy and warmer weather, tvith increasing haze and cloudiness; variable winds giving place to freshening easterlies and northerlles generally. The barometer is failing steadily, especially in the south.
