GENERAL SIR lAN HAMILTON’S REPORT. PRELIMINARY TO MILITARY TRAINING. By telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright, OTTAWA, August 19. Received August 19. 8.5 p.m. The Liberal Press criticises General Sir lan Hamilton’s report on the militia, alleging that it is intended as a preliminary for the introduction of universal military training in Canada on similar lines to that in New Zealand.
