PORT OF BLUFF. There were no shipping movements at ‘ills port yesterday. It was reported recently that the jShaw, Savill and Albion Company s Steamer Rangatira was coming to New Eealand. Latest advices, however, state that the vessel, which left Liverpool on July 19, will only proceed as far as Australian ports. Advice received from London states that Holt's Blue Funnel Line lias ordered two 20,000-ton steamers, each GSOft long, for the Australian trade. These rvessels will be built by Messrs Workman. Clark and Co., of Belfast. Line representatives and Lloyd’s underwriters, it has been decided to effect only the most essential temporary repairs to the steamer Indrabarah, now in dock at Port Chalmers. In addition to a new rudder, sternpost, propeller shafts. Internal frames and machinery, one of her boilers will have to be re-seated, hut the permanent repairs where possible are to be. effected when the Indrabarah returns to Great Britain. Messrs Stevenson and Cook have been entrusted with the work of repairing the vessel on the lines indicated, this enterprising firm having undertaken to carry out the temporary repairs In a shorter time than any other tenderer—three to four weeks'.
