Per United Press Association. CIIUISTCHUKCII. Jan. 31. Store Sheep—sooo yarded, mostly lambs mid wethers. Wethers brought 10s (id to 13s Id, lambs 12s It'd to 9s 4d, culls 7s, ewes 15s Od to l‘2s Id. Pat Lambs —2901 penned, the quality varying to prime to unfinished. Competition was slack and several lines wee withdrawn. Of freezers 13H2 were taken ut 13s dd to 15s 2d, butchers sorts 12s Od to Us Od—extra heavy Ids and 17s. mul over 1000 were passed at 13s to Us 7d. • Put Sheep.—A fairly large yarding, including a good proportion of ewes. There was not much competition for expont wethers, which showed practically no change. Prime wethers 18s Od to 2t«, others Ids 3d to 18s, prime heavy ewes Lis to THs, medium Us to 15s Od, aged 10s (id to 13s Gd. Put Cattle—lßs head yarded, which was beyond requirements and a further fall in prices followed. Steers brought 17s Od to £9 19s Gd, heifers £5 5s to £7 3s ; cows £4 12s 6d to £7 Ts Cd, equal to 20s to 82s for prime cow and interior IGs to IDs per 1001b. I Store Cattle.—There was a rather bet- ' ter demand. Two year sU-ocs brought I £3 Is to £3 7s Gd, do heifers £2 2s Od I to £2, 7s (id, 3-year steers £4 7s Gd to I Cl 12s (id, dry cows £1 Ids to £3 11s, 'dairy (li £3 10s to £7 £8 12s Od to £9 2s Od. I Pigs.—Baconers 35s to 455, equal to 3d to 3id per lb. porkers 22s to 31's. equal to IJd per lb ; medium, stores 17s to 20«, slips 12s to 15s, weaners Oa to Ills.
