Per United Press Association NELSON, Jan. BE Tiie report of the committee, that Lieut. Braddon (Hokitika) was the only one of the applicants entitled to a star for 25 years’ service was adopted. Annual votes of £25 to the Association’s paper tjml £SO to Ihe secretary were passed. The Executive was 'asked. to : request the Government to. place some restriction on the use of fianncllettc. Certificates of merit pvere presented to expresidents Toomey and Battle. The conference has closed.
