Received 17th, 6.57 p.m. The New Zealand - owned bajxru* 'West* Australian, which left here on the Bth inst. to load guano at Surprise Island, was totally wrecked on French reef, 40 miles from Pott Island: Captain Barber and the , crew are aboard the s.s. St. Antoine and coming to Noumea.
