Tho team chosen to represent Derbyshire against the Australians consists of Chatterton, B.agsbaw, Davidson, Hulme, Sugg, Porter, Storer, Evershed, Wright, Marsden, andPardy. Trumble, Kelly and Jones are resting. The attendance is good, the weather splendid, the wicket excellent, aud the ground in first rate order. The Australians winning the toss, went in first and when stumps were drawn for the day had scored 370 for the loss of four wickets—liedale 73, Trott (not out) 134, Donnan (not out) 85.
