THE REMINGTON Read this extract from the Penman’s Art Journal of May of last year, published in the United States, the home of the typewriter:— In lookinf'- over the catalogues sent us every year from hundreds of commercial schools, we have been greatly impressad with the predominance of the Remington typewriter in the shorthand departments. Following out this matter and making particular inquiries respecting the preferences of commercial and shorthand school proprietors with respect of typewriting machines used in their schools, we find that more Remingtons are used than all other machines together, and more than three times as many as the next most popular machine.
