Endeavors will be made by the Government supporters to try and finish the debate .on the Reform Bill on Thursday. The result is doubtful.

The Assembly is discussing the contract for the new law courts. The only expenditure authorised by Parliament was £120,000, while the contracts accepted amounted to £275,000, apparently by the McCulloch Government.

Mr Weed, the Chief Inspector of Sheep of Tasmania, waited upon Mr Berry to-day respecting alterations in the regulation relative to the importation of sheep. A similar application came from Adelaide ; both were declined.
