We have to thank the Department of Agriculture, Wellington, for a copy of the annual report for 1907. It is a comprehensive volume, and is profusely illustrated, and contains a capital photo of the Minister of Agriculture, the Hon Mr R. McNab. The volume contains close on 500 pages of good, interesting reading, and it is a credit to the department and those responsible for its compilation are to be congratulated. The contents consist of :—Editorial Note by Mr G. Bisset, list of officers of the Department, report of secretary for Agriculture, Dairy Division, Poultry Division, Fibre Division, Manure Sterilising Division, Chemistry Division, Viticultural Division, Biology, Horticulture, Live Stock, and Agriculture, Veterinary Division, and a number of handy statistics. The publication is now in its lath year, and we trust it may long continue to serve its useful purpose. *
