REGATTA.

The regatta committee held a meeting last Saturday evening, when the programme for the 2nd J anuary was fixed up. Representations have been made to headquarters to have a warship in port an regatta day, and from the reply received there seems every possibility of the request being granted. The undermentioned are the officials appointed for the regatta :—Judges ; Captains Macdonald and Lovett, and masters of vessels in port'; Umpire, Capt. J. W. Raymond ; Timekeepers, Messrs N. J. M.
