A RECORD SEASON! Millinery, Blouses, Dress Skirts, Costumes, Jackets Mantles This will be a great season for Millinery. A great season for Ladies' Skirts 1 and Blouses. And a great season for Ladies' Dress Skirts and ready-to-wear Dresses. Already our Millinery Sales 1 exceed the whole of last summer’s. Our efforts to produce stylish hats, suitable for young ladies at 15s 6d, 17s 6d, and 19s 6d, has brought a rush of buyers. We said we would make the variety so great and the styles so charming that no pretty girl would be happy till she got one. That is just what we did. The pretty girls have responded in a way that has made us more than ever the humble slaves and servants of beauty. Not alone Millinery. Blouses and Shirts and Costumes, with which we considered ourselves hopelessly swamped, are vanishing.. And why should they not ? THEY ABE CHEAP ! They are not only cheap THEY ARE WELL MADE. They are not only well made THEY ARE OP GOOD MATERIAL. They are not only good material THEY ARE STYLISH. Considering how expensive it is to make these goods to order here, why should they not vanish ? If for 50s a lady can buy as many effective articles of dress ready-to-wear as she can for &5 to order, why should she not buy ? To some ladies it is of no consequence. They can afford to pay for goods made exclusively for themselves, and prefer to do it. For such ladies we do the very best we can to make exclusive dresses. But to those whom a saving in a Hat, Blouse, or a Dress, means more money for othcr needful things, we say, TRY READY-TO-WEAR. THOMSON & lIEATTIE (Ltd).
