C. W. BROWN’S PROPERTY REPORT. Since date of last report the price of land has been -well maintained in Invercargill, and good residential sites meet with ready Sale at prices considerably in advance of those formerly ruling. The building trade is active, and few, if any, empty houses are to be seen. It is expected that the initiation of an up-to-date tramway service, will have a good effect on suburban lands. County properties —more especially those near dairy factories —are in good demand. The following sales have recently been effected at satisfactory prices, viz. : Sect!on 3, Block VI, Enwood, 32 poles ; part of Section 13, Block V, Campbelltown Hundred, 19 acres 2 roods 32 poles ; Sections Ito 11, Block XT, Township of Greenhills, 2 acres 2 roods 19 poles ; part of Section 64, Block V, Campbelltown Hundred, 27 acres 8 roods 21 poles, with dwelling ; Section 12, Block V, 1 acre, with dwelling! Kilbrony ; Section 12, Block V, Campbelltown Hundred, 42 acres, with dwelling, etc. ; Section 12, Edendale, acre, with dwelling ; Sections 14, 16, and IS, Inglewood, -J-acre ; Allotment 3 (1 rood), Half Moon Bay ; part of Section 17, 'Block 59, Invercargill, with dwelling, etc. Fihancial. —Money is readily obtainable on good freehold security at 5 per cent.
