A resident in Ann street wrote complaining - of the foul state of drain on South side of street. —To be informed that the Council is adopting a scheme for piping the principal drains in the borough, and that Ann street is one of those included in the scheme. Decided to ask the S.F.M. Co. to allow a siren to bo attached to steam valve for the purpose of being used as a fire alarm.

Co. as a sate for septic tank. Inspector instructed to see that joints in the main drain on the foreshore be repaired.
