The Campbelltown Council held their ordinary meeting- on Monday, 29th .7 lily, there being present Crs. talker, I). McKenzie, Cruickshank, Hinchey, McPhail, Valentine, Nichol, A. McKenzie, and A. Parsons. In the unavoidable absence- of His Worship the Mayor, Cr. Cruickshank was voted to the chair. The action of the Mayor was approved in engaging hi. Roberts as civil engineer to report on the supply of water and power that would be obtainable from the Bluff Hill. The Southland Frozen Meat Cowrote offering a site for septic tanks. Referred to the Sanitary Committee! which, holds a special meeting on Monday week. Decided to supply the Fire Brigade with caps for the members, and a quantity of leather for the purpose of making- washers. Decided to carry out works in connection with the formation of Onslow, Bradshaw, and Palmer streets, and obtain a. pair of new jaws for the stone crusher.
