The mill-owner, held that the man was employed by the farmer, .but the magistrate ruled that the mill-owner was the employer, a s the gang followed the mill and took orders from the owner only. A mutual settlement was arrived at. The decision will gave the effect of forcing machine-owners to include in the contract for the threshing price all machine hands’ wages.
