FAMOUS SOLDIER DEAD. Xew,s was received with deep regret in Colchester of the death, in a London hospital, recently, of Major Amey, of the 10th Company Army Service Corps. Major Amoy was physically one of the finest officers in the British Army, as he stood 6ft. 5-Jin., and weighed 17 stone.
