(To the Editor). Sir. —We saw an advertisement in srour5 r our issue of the 15th inst. notifying extra cheap fares to Christchurch. It is expected that a large number will take advantage of the liberal fares. Intending visitors would bo wise to make sure of accommodation before leaving home. Last night two young ladies wore in a very pitiable condition till rough neglecting to secure beds previous to arrival. A few nights ago a young couple arrived by the late express, and found, ro their discomfort, that all the central hotels were full. Not knowing their way about they accepted the first offer. Oiii leaving in the morning they were informed that the house was anything but respectable. There is plenty of accommodation, both hotel and private, but the finding of what is required -is difficult to a stranger. To save all risk of disappointment you can secure accommodation by making your requirements known at ottr Bee street shop. Gooel hotel rates are from 6s per day, private board and residence from 25s per week ; bed and breakfast from 20s per week. Yours; etc., A. MASTERS & SON.
