Subject to any necessary alterations mails will close as under: — , Tuesday. 11th June. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Flora, at 4.30 p.m. Wednesday, 12th June. For the United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, United States of America, Canada, West Indies, etc. (via San Francisco), Hawaiian Islands and Samoa, and also for Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Takapuna, as follows : Ordinary letters 4 p.m., registered letters, money orders, books and newspapers at 3.30 p.m., late fee letters at C.P.O. till 4.45 p.m., and at mail van, north express, till 5.5 p.m. [This mail will be due in London on July 17th.j For the United Kingdom, Continent of Europe (specially addressed corresgohdence only), and South America, per iimutaka, at 4.30 p.m. Parcel mail closes at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, 11th June. [This mail will be due in London on July 26th.] For the Australian Colonies land), per Manapouri, at 4.30 p.m. Saturday, 15th June.

Via Naples July 25th I July 31st „ Brindisi ~ 2nd ( Aug. 7th „ Naples „ 9th | „ 14th ~ Brindisi „ 16th j „ 21st Mails for above services will be announced at Timaru Post Office as connecting steamers offer. The next German mail packet leaves Melbourne 26th inst. Due at Berlin 3rd August. The next French mail packet leaves Melbourne 2nd July. Due at Marseilles 2nd August. The IJpolu will leave Auckland for Fiji on 20th inst. Mails for Chatham Islands per Kahu, leave Lyttelton about Ist July. The Taviuni will leave Sydney for Fiji, Tonga and Samoa on the 12th inst. Mails for Cromarty and Puysegur Point close at Invercargill on Thursday, 13th inst., at 2.30 p.m. Mails for Tahiti and Earatonga will leave Auckland per Eichmond, about the 21st inst.
